Gunners welcome the PWP Awareness raising Workshop at School
of Artillery Nowshera

Establishment of the historical School of Artillery School dates back to 1921. Since then, school has come a long way in developing its Infrastructure and training. Since its inception, the institution has produced a large number of eminent personalities, who have risen to command the Corps and Pakistan Army. General Tikka Khan, General Sawar Khan and General Pervez Musharraf are amongst the well known personalities of Pakistan Army. Soon after returning from Shandur Polo Festival, on 13th July 2010, a short workshop on "Our Environment, Issues and Recommendations" was arranged at the spacious Shouket Hayat  Hall by the PWP Training Team. After a preliminary introduction of Pakistan Wetlands Programme by Advisor NRM Training, Col Mushtaq Ahmed Khan ®, eminent scientist Prof ZB Mirza deliberated upon the main theme “Our Environment, Issues and Recommendations”. Clad in their typical camouflaged uniform, it was a large impressive gathering of 400 personnel comprising all ranks, attending various courses at this august institution. An interesting question and answer session followed the presentations. In the end, Lt Col Ramzan, GSO-1 (Training) thanked the Pakistan Wetlands Programme team.
